WHAT!? I didn't know this existed! I grew up with atari and sega and the first hand held I remember was the Sega Game Gear! This is so awesome! Thanks for posting this!
Absolutely! It was super cool for its time! They had a pretty small catalog of games as the Lynx came out late in Atari's life cycle... so it's entirely possible to collect most/all of the entire catalog if you decide to go bananas on getting the physical stuff. Pretty expensive though!
This is one of the rare game systems I either didn't own or at least knew someone that had one. It seemed awesome but if I remember it was the price that stopped it from taking off.
Price was definitely a factor I think, yeah. The dang thing also took a ton of batteries if it was mobile and not plugged in... so that probably didn't help lol

I remember Gauntlet on the NES being a lot of fun and very challenging as well. Never played it on the Atari though.
The NES version was honestly better, so you didn't miss much. Atari was what got me into it on the NES though haha
