This game is one that I've spent countless hours on over the years since i first started playing it back in 2008 and it is a game which have changed a lot since back then...
Shaiya is a MMORPG which released in 2007 and it copied a lot from Lineage 2.
Back in the days it focused much more on the PvE portion of the game and you had to grind for hours each day to level up your character but later on it changed to focus more on the PvP side of the game,this didn't go well with some people but the company behind didn't listen.
Change and Friendshsips
Still i had such a great time over the years playing this game,at times you could just sit still in the Auction House and just chat chat chat for hours,i made countless friends and enemies as well,the community is what made people stay over the years as the game changed,some even met in Shaiya and got married! But eventually the community started to die out as well as many people got too busy in life,and one friend i met on there sadly died...so the friends i met on there parted ways a couple of years ago and i still miss them to this day...though one of them stuck with me over the years,he's actually my oldest gaming friend since we met back in 2012 and have talked since then and i am eternally grateful to him for sticking by my side through the hard times and the good times!
The Regret
One thing i regret from playing this game though is the money spent,i wasted thousands of dollars over the years just to stay ahead in a game that you cannot earn back what's spent,money that could've been used to invest in crypto with or money i could've saved for starting my business back then. But what's done is done i guess and i still love the times i had playing Shaiya and if anyone of you that played Shaiya back then finds this post somehow and remembers me please hit me up!
