My Journey with DCROPS (1st Post of results)

WSUP fellow Hive Gamers, GUAP family and Future Proof Community members! Welcome to my new blog for this amazing P2E game called DCrops. I go by the username "spearhead1976" and I'm honored to be the leader of our thriving community in this exciting space.

As we gear up to onboard new Future Proof Ambassadors into the Hive ecosystem and beyond, I've realized that the best way to learn is by teaching. That's why I've decided to embark on this blogging journey, sharing my DCrops experiences, lessons, mistakes and knowledge with you all as a learn and grow.

In this first issue, I want to introduce myself and delve into my unforgettable first full season as a proud farm owner in DCrops. It all began in the Fall season, just as winter was fast approaching. This particular season lasted for 14 action-packed days, and as I write to you now, I have a mere 40 minutes left before winter sets in. The anticipation is high, and I can't wait to share the ups and downs of this exhilarating journey with you.

Together, we'll explore the ins and outs of DCrops, utilizing the fantastic tools and resources available in Hive to cultivate a thriving and rewarding gaming experience. As we embark on this adventure, my ultimate goal is to foster a vibrant community of Future Proofers, where we can learn, grow, and celebrate our achievements together. I also want us to WIN so i'm making sure you know the Life hacks that i learn about this game along the way. Like life hack #1. Understand CROP Power

This is critical to knowing the "So what" of it all, we are here to have fun while building wealth. Land and assets are wealth, and this game teaches us to fall back in love with that concept even in our digital activities.

This is a screenshot of my results for this season. I came in 78th overall with a total of 1378 Shares that i sold to earn CROP tokens. I will be earning around 900 CROP which can be either held for Crop Power or used to buy special items that help me produce better outcomes in the next season. I did a little of both by investing in CROP on the Hive Exchange to get me closer to my Quota of 20K CROPS so that i can be a part of the daily Hive Pool that is rewarded to CROP holders.

A you can see above i was able to complete all of the items in my quest this season. In order to do this i couldn't rely only on the random items i could get from buying Beta packs. I had to go into the open market and purchase land and items that i wanted to meet this quest. I didn't know what kind of items came in mystery boxes so i was eager to earn mine. What i got was an assortment of boosters for the next season.

With my Reward chest i was able to get Speed Grow, which is applied before every planting to reduce the time it takes to harvest your crops. You must use these BEFORE you plant, if used after you'll lose it, because it wont work. I was also able to get some Mystery Seeds which are random items that are appropriate for the season you're in. Mystery seeds are like a box of chocolates, you'll never know what you're going to get.

This is one of the crops i look forward to growing in this winter season. It's a rare Kidney Bean card from the Beta Packs. It takes 4 days to harvest and sells from 7 $shares per batch. I expect to make 3 batched per planting which is 21 $shares. I can also save some to make Bean Soup from the Recipe tab.

Other items i look forward to growing this season are Bell Pepper, Parsley, and Cilantro, Peas Radish, Cabbage, and Onion. This season since i'm not starving for CROPS and i've made the investment to be in the CROP Power pool, i can now focus on saving ingredients to make my recipes and Ingredients. This is critical to my growth in the community because products bring more shares than raw plants do.

So this is the Journey of my first real season in DCrops. I'm becoming less of a novice and more of a contributor to the ecosystem. I've amassed a decent sized farm coming in at over 1200 Hive in value. Looking forward to growing that since as of today thats $384 in value USD.
