Ow, I played Maplestory more than a decade ago when Metin2 and Mu were incredibly famous. I think what I fell in love with most was its cute design, but by that time I was a kid so I couldn't play as much as I really wanted to.
Is MapleSEA the original Maple, or is it a newer version or something like that? I'm 100% sure that's not what it used to be called XD
That's even before the first time I played the game... I think when I first started playing the craze is all over Veracent and we basically farmed there day and night. Now it's all different again, proof that time really flies.
MapleSEA is the version of the game ran by PlayPark in the SEA region. There's also Global MapleStory (ran by Nexon themselves), Korea MapleStory (also ran by Nexon themselves), and a few others. We all follow the "base version" which is Korea MapleStory tho (meaning that we get their updates and patches, with our own content on top). It might be confusing, but just say MapleStory and everyone will know that you're referring to the game with a mushroom icon, the rest are just region differences.
