Hello gamers, how are you? I hope everyone is doing well. Well, today I have a very special article. Something very positive happened to me today. And just as the title of the article says, I found a RELIC from the gaming world. As a gift, I received none other than one of the first editions of Super Mario Land for GAMEBOY in black and white. Not only is it the original game box, MADE IN JAPAN with a US shipping stamp from NINTENDO, but the cassette is also intact, Japanese.

So, this was a gift from a friend of my mother's. Since her children are much older than me and are out of the country, they left some other things that I'll share with you later. Among them is this Super Mario Land relic. Well, instead of saying they'll throw it away, I preferred to say "I can have it," and well, here we are.

As a collector and video game lover, with Super Mario for the NES being my first game, this is like holding gold. Beyond its value, its value as a collectible, as a game, and as a part of Nintendo's history is priceless. Today, I believe these types of objects are priceless and simply magical for anyone who loves video games.

So, the game was made for the original GAMEBOY in black and white, so the entire game book will be like this. This is the first time I've seen a game manual from the GAMEBOY era. The design is very pleasing to the eye, with the explanations and character designs. It's like a small book with miniature art that offers a complete introduction to the game and its characters.

The cassette comes in a thick, hard plastic case that says Nintendo Made in Japan on the back. The game has a printed sticker with the cover (which is intact), and I'm thrilled that the art is perfectly curated. I don't know if I can play it. I have a GAMEBOY (I'll show it and talk about it later), but I have to try it out.

So, gamers, I hope you enjoyed this article. I plan to write more along these lines about some of the relics I've been finding. I have them and will try to continue getting them. If you liked the post, have played this Mario game, and want to see more posts like this, leave a comment.
