My experience drinking ice cream shake on Ayestarán Street.

Hi food lovers! It is a pleasure for me to share with you again. Between work and routine, it is difficult to take a break and to go to a restaurant or a cafe to enjoy new or usual flavors. That is why while traveling is a great opportunity to try new places to eat.

Yesterday I had to travel to Pinar del Río at twenty past two, but my father and I decided to go out early because on Sundays, transportation may be pretty difficult. Few cars and buses work on Sunday.

And we were no wrong! We arrived at the bus stop maybe at quarter past nine AM and the bus came probably at half past eleven AM. But it was too early to enter in the bus station, so we decided to try the ice cream in a place that we had been long time ago before its remodeling.

I had saw a review of the place in some Instagram account and that person told that there was quality and economic prices, high flavors variety and that it was a nice place. There was few people when we entered. We pushed the door and went to a table.

Effectively, the place is quite beautiful. It has many pictures as decorations. I took photos of some of my favorite ones. The place is climatized and painted in white. It has a pretty good illumination and views to the street, so you may continue observing what happen out of there .

You have to go to the cash desk and tell to a girl what you want and pay. Then you go to the counter and have to decide between a big amount of flavors and if you ask for an ice cream shake, they take your name and call you when your order is ready.

I was impressed with how the place works! It seemed like a foreign movie! 😲 I am an indecisive girl for that kind of things because my real desire is to try every single flavor. Specially the new ones for me. I went to our table to ask my father about what he would like and as always, he asked for chocolate.

I was still indecisive, and at the end I asked for sneackers flavor because it has two colors and I was thinking in an special taste.

While waiting I took some more photos to the place and to the other people enjoying their ice creams.

When my order was ready they called me and I brought our ice cream shakes.

That was the only thing we asked because we had breakfast as a lunch and we were no hungry, also because I had to be in the bus station for the check in of my travel ticket.

Flavors were soft and delicious! You have not to go for a glass of water to keep drinking it.

We were satisfied with our shakes, were sitting for a few more seconds and then we went out. I strongly recommend that visit. My experience was the best one and we decided to go back in the future to try the rest of the flavors and with the whole family, not only us.

So if you ever come to Havana, remember the place is on Ayestarán Street.
