Introduction

I met up with my boss at Damen mall. We walked around a bit and my boss chose Mr Fish Fish & Seafood Noodle Restaurant for our lunch. It was one of the restaurants that we haven't tried yet in this mall. Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of seafood but I do love salmon, sushi and calamari though. The restaurant was kind of empty since it was a late lunch. The second photo was the fried salmon fillet; I don't think you can go wrong with salmon. As for my drink, I got green tea ice. It's usually my go to drink for any Asian type of restaurant.

Mr Fish Fish & Seafood Noodle @ Damen Mall

Mr Fish Fish & Seafood Noodle is a restaurant that specializes in chinese noodles. Apparently, this restaurant is a small franchise with nine locations. All of the locations have good ratings near 4.8 stars. The one I went to had 4.8 stars out of 733 reviews which is pretty good. I actually didn't know the stars until after I ate at the restaurant.

I love it when there's not a lot of people. It makes it easier to take a picture of the inside. You can see my boss is on a phone call. Anyways, I found the place to be very clean and the tables to be well spaced out. I felt the restaurant had a simple look; you could say it's minimalistic. The place was nicely decorated as well and they even had some samples outside which I thought was a great idea.

Food

I will share the whole menu at the end of the blog. You can see in the first photo; I have the Japanese Ramen on the bottom with the thick meehoon noodles on the top. I chose the Tom Yum soup broth and added some vegetables and lamb slices. The thick meehoon noodles were an add-on and honestly I was expected it to be another plate of noodles that I throw in so I was a bit surprised when it came with it's own soup.

Concluding Thoughts

I'm not sure why the receipt shows dine in pax four. Somehow, our orders were on two different bills so I just ended up paying my own bill. Usually my boss would pay it and claim it under the company. Anyways my bill came out to RM38.50 which is around 8 USD. Honestly, the place exceeded my expectations. I really liked the noodles and I would definitely come back. The service was great as well so I can see how their restaurant chain has such good google reviews.

The restaurant is looking simple and I love the structure. I love it when there are not enough people in it, it is when I enjoy any restaurant more than when people are much in it.

Thanks Princess. Yes, it really was simple and nice structure.. The food was good too :P. Oh ya but the place has to be good tho if there aren't enough people in it lol. I mean I'm fine with people in the restaurant it just makes me feel awkward to take photos if you know what i mean xD. I also like not having to wait too long for the food.

Yes. I feel awkward too taking pictures when there are lots of people but I feel free doing that with just less people as I won't be bothered. Lol

Yes so if there was a lot of people, I probably wouldn't have taken a picture of the inside of the restaurant haha so i think we are the same
