A KING OR A SERVANT?

in Multitopics17 days ago

When someone tells you a word, it is best for you to action in making sure that what has been said comes to reality/fulfilment.

Like a story I listened to yesterday, it was about two young guys who went to visit a seed to foretell their future. The seer told the first guy that he was going to become the next king after the demise of the ruling king, hearing this got him excited.

The seer told the second guy, that he was going to become a servant. And they both left.

The first guy, out of great excitement went about telling people to start respecting him because he would become the next king. However, the one who was said to become a servant said to himself, that he would rather work hard to become successful in life instead of becoming a servant.

As time went by, the one who was said to be a servant, started working in a farm, grew and harvested a lot of crops, he sold some and preserved the rest.

At a time, there was a serious famine in the land, and the people were hungry so, they went to meet the farmer and asked to be their king, so that they could have food to eat. The other guy however had nothing on him and was struggling to survive. He never became a king.

So, you see, many times, we need to take action to make certain things come to pass. Being told that you'll be successful is not enough. How do you intend to be successful? What decision are you taking towards becoming a person of success? What steps are you taking?

We have probably heard the statement, "if wishes were horses, beggars will ride."

As long as wishes cannot come into manifestation unless actual steps are taken, nothing can happen when you just fold your hands, doing nothing. Magics don't suddenly happen.

Working towards achieving success will bring happiness in the end and people will always respect you.

So, as you read this, I want you to always be willing to work hard and not to expect a magic to happen.

it’s actually something happening in Africa, the moment people hear prophecies about things, they tend to relax and just be expecting that it comes to pass forgetting the world is not magic.

You're on point! They see prophecy as a shortcut to fulfilment, forgetting that prophecy is meant to be a fuel for hardwork.

True. And good advice. A good parable actually. It is so good, so I just wanted to point out one small typo at the very start where the word became 'seed' instead of 'seer', so that you can make it perfect.

Cheers from a fellow #dreemerforlife

I'm indeed grateful. Thanks so much, for the observation!

The second guy was wise enough to realize that it takes more than just a prophecy to actualize one's dream.
The story is parked with lessons. Kudos.
