We made lemonade-Fresh from our garden-Update on what we have in our garden

Hello Everyone. A month has passed since my last activity here. How are the weather conditions in your location? In the Philippines, we are currently experiencing the rainy season.

Anyway, I wanna share the plants we still have in our garden in our front yard.

Okra
Our Okra plant continues to bear fruit, much to my husband's delight. However, as neither of us enjoys eating Okra, he generously shares the surplus with our neighbors, ensuring that none of it goes to waste.

Papaya
In our front yard, my husband planted several papaya trees. Some of them are thriving and have even produced flowers, despite my lack of enthusiasm for papaya. Perhaps we could consider selling the fruit as a potential source of income.

Lemongrass

Although we infrequently consume lemongrass from our garden, it is readily available whenever we need it, eliminating the need to ask our neighbors for it.

Coconut Trees
Intending to create a shaded area in our front yard, my husband opted to cultivate a dwarf variety of coconut palms, thus providing us with respite from the sun's intense rays.

Sword Pepper
At present, the sword pepper plants are bearing fruit, with some ready for harvest. Unfortunately, not all of them have grown as large and healthy as we had hoped, but we are grateful that they are still producing fruit. We hope to sell some of the fruits and earn a reasonable amount of money, similar to what we have done in the past.

Tomatoes
Despite the battering rains and strong winds of the recent typhoon, our tomato plants have shown remarkable resilience. Although their current condition is not ideal, we remain grateful for their survival. Encouragingly, I have observed the emergence of flowers on some of the plants, which gives us hope for a future harvest of tomatoes.

Spring Onions
Similar to our tomatoes, our spring onions were also affected by the typhoon. Despite the strong winds that damaged their leaves, they managed to survive. This morning, I suggested to my husband that we harvest and sell the spring onions since they're ready for harvest. He agreed and mentioned that he plans to plant more spring onions in the available pots.

Bittergourd
This morning, while taking pictures of the plants around our house, I discovered that my husband had planted bitter gourd. Some of the seeds germinated successfully, while others did not. He sowed the seeds in a cement sack.

Ginger
In addition to the bitter gourd, Hubby planted ginger in a cement sack. I'm thrilled to see them growing and hopeful that we'll be able to incorporate them into our daily culinary routine.

Dragon Fruit
My husband decided to plant dragon fruit near the side of our house. I'm not sure how long it will take for the dragon fruit to bear fruit. While I'm not a big fan of dragon fruit on its own, perhaps if we make it into a shake, it might taste better.

Chili
In our laundry area, a chili plant thrives independently, bearing fruits that delight my husband. He can conveniently pluck them whenever he desires, as they grow within easy reach.

Kangkong
I was the one who planted this kangkong in our front yard when it was still bare. I chose to plant it because I love kangkong. However, my husband later decided to grow other types of plants, and because the kangkong took up too much space, he had to remove it. Surprisingly, even after being removed for over a year, the kangkong continues to grow on the other side of the area.

Lemon
To avoid the risk of losing our lemon fruit to insects, we decided to harvest them before they reached full ripeness. Instead of waiting for them to mature completely, we opted to make lemonade from the harvested lemons, ensuring that we could still enjoy their refreshing flavor despite their premature harvest.
