Garden Updates Of My Tomatoes, Green Chillies And Others.

It's been so cold here lately since the Christmas season started. To be honest it's making us to just stay in the house and do things inside but as a gardener and farmer that one didn't apply to us. We need to do the things needed to be done in order to survive. Well we are all like that but the difference is just the setting of our works.

For this blog I just want to update what's happening with my tomatoes, green chillies and other plants that I grow for the past days. So let's start.

As for the tomatoes that I planted last November 14, I was amazed by their fast growth and now it's almost two months already on January 14 since I planted them. I just checked their condition yesterday and so far they are looking good as you can see in the photo above.

Their leaves are very green and big indicating that they are healthy. To be honest, I was worried for them for the past days due to nonstop raining. I thought that they will be drowned again, might affect their health and eventually die even if they are big already.

That's what I thought since one of it is not in good condition anymore and I'm sure that this one will die eventually because of it's roots are already damage. I didn't remove it for the mean time because I'm hoping that it will recover since I saw some new roots emerging but until now it didn't. Maybe it drowned.

That's the bad news about it and the good news is that it has already flowers. They didn't bloom yet but they just came out the other day maybe since it's not that matured yet as you can see in the photo. This is from one of my tomatoes and I can't wait to see the others to have flowers also.

Time really flies fast and they are about to give birth to fresh tomatoes yiee. I'm excited.

As for my green chillies, they are looking good and healthy as well. They are big now and two of them are starting already develop new branches as you can see in the photo below.

For sure my chillies will have flowers also as it develops it's new branches. The same with my tomatoes, I can't wait to see their flowers and those new green chillies.

One of it didn't look good and I had to replace it. The same with the case of my tomato, it's roots developed a problem causing it to die slowly. I'm sad about what happened to my plants but at the same time I'm jumping in joy to see their progress.

Encountering those deaths of my plants is envitable just like the case of our life as humans. Some will live and some will not.

My tomatoes are developing flowers already so I had to ready the next batch of tomato seedlings. Actually grandma got excited and I didn't know that she already did them last week and now they are big already as you can see in the photo. For sure I can't use the bin so I will plant them in sacks so stay tuned.

My father really likes to have hot chillies everytime he eats and the plant where he gets those died last month. As I wonder around it, I found new seedlings so I trasnplanted them in a better place. You can see that there are ashes around it and the reason to that is to prevent the snails from eating it. So far it's effective.

My strings beans are looking good also out in the field. I thought that I have to plant a seperate one where I will get the seeds I will use for the next planting. I planted some in a recycled bucket and as you can see in the photo after 3 days they already grew but as expected some of it didn't make it to grow.

You can see here that molds prevented them from sprouting so took them out of the bucket already in order to prevent further damage.

A bee on my finger.

As I checked my bitter gourd, I noticed a a bee on it's vine. I tried to touched it and it didn't fly away so I captured photos of it. It behaved really well as I took a photo of it. I was happy about it but in the end I have to let it go and it flew away.

I used organic soil from hay po. I mixed a little bit of rice hull also for better outcome and it looks like it worked.

It is good that you have been able to see the results of their work in the short term. Almost always when we plant and see that the weather is not favorable we do not lose hope that they will recover.

I hope you continue to have good expectations and experiences with your plants.

Happy New Year also.😊🎉

The plants look beautiful and healthy, that's good to get the fruits. In this season it is also cold here. It is unfortunate to see how some plants die, however, weather conditions and some insects do not help the process. We must understand that it is part of the process, therefore, it requires a lot of care.

Beautiful I loved your blog until the visitor cute little bee with cute colors.
