Greetings to all of you out there, I hope your day went well so far.

Since we have a part timer already our day off is now two days and that sounds good to me.

One of my day off is today so I need to spend it wisely and that starts when I woke up this morning. The weather was looking good and I got the chance to capture the sunrise. Well I'm really a lover of sunrise that's why when you look back to my blogs here there's always a photo of sunrise and also sunset. That's me, those moments in a day calms me the most.

And this is what I shot for today's sunrise. I want to capture it alone but I saw it between the banana plant and got the idea to take it that way.
The result was pretty amazing actually because the banana plant act as a frame for the sun. Played it a little.

I waited outside as the sun rises to receive some vitamin D and as the time runs, my buddies were also awake. My new dog started to make noise and want to go outside that's why my cousin brought it to me.

What he did just warms my heart and made me happy. He started climbing on to my back and started reaching out his hands. Since my phone is with me I didn't let the chance to slip. I took shots of him and here they are.

All I can say about him is he's so loving.

My other dogs went outside also and my buddy named Boy rushingly came to me as if he miss me so much hihi but in reality he got jealous with my new dog being close to me, oh no haha.

He started putting his self infront of me and making a little noise, I don't know what to call it but he's not barking.

He stayed with me like that for a almost half an hour as I enjoy the sunrise. In that moment I took the chance to capture him also because why not, a loving dog needs to be documented hihi.

And those are the moments with my buddies this morning.

Before I take my breakfast, I spotted a dragonfly also enjoying the warmth of the sun.

What I just observed nowadays is that I can't see a pack of dragonflies flying around, not like before that they are everywhere.

After my breakfast I already get the needed tools to use in my planting journey.

I cleaned first the area where I will transplant the banana. By the way this area is near the river and I hope that my plant will grow better here since the Acacia tree that covers the whole area is now gone.

1000062978.jpg

I began to dug a hole and I had a little bit of difficulty since there are rocks from small to big just like the photo below. But all in all the soil is ideal for the banana, good drainage and that's all I want because the area where my other bananas is not draining well.

After I made sure that there's no debris left in the hole, I went back to get the banana shoot. While on the process I had to make sure to minimize damage to the banana in order for it to recover quickly.
Removing it from it's place was easy since the shoot is not that deep.

Million hours later and finally I successfully remove it.
And that's me hihi. Taking a photo as a remembrance.

1000062991.jpg

Finally I began to cover it with the soil I removed and while on it I made sure to remove the big rocks mixed in the soil as it will hinder the banana to grow better.

1000062993.jpg

I carefully pushed down the soil using my hand, I didn't use any tools for this process since I it will just cause more trauma to the stem and it's roots.
I just to make sure it will not budge just in case.

And that's it. I successfully transplanted the banana shoot hoping for it to grow healthy and will bear fruits for us to consume later.

During this planting journey today I really enjoyed it since it's been a long time that I planted something.
It's just so refreshing to the feeling that you're able to grow something again and to wait for it's fruit to ripe.

Let's practice to plant our own food.

That's for today and when you're still reading this I hope you had a great day...
Thank you for reading.
