Cassava plants are very suitable for culture in tropical climates. Cassava plants are resistant to drought and can grow in barren areas, although the yield of tubers is not as large as when planted in fertile areas. Therefore, cassava plants are called alternative crops that can grow in areas with low fertility levels.
To plant plants so they can grow well and optimally, you need a good climate and good land. Likewise, planting cassava plants is very suitable in soil that is loose in structure and contains lots of organic material.

When planting cassava, it is very important to choose fertile, well-drained soil. When working on soil processing, it is best to do it when the soil is not muddy so that the soil structure is not damaged. and to produce large cassava, the plant must have space to grow roots. Therefore, when preparing planting land, you must pay attention to the land area.

Cassava plants are tubers that grow from lower stem cuttings as seeds.
For the planting process, the cassava stems are cut into approximately 40-50 cm pieces and then planted to a depth of 10 cm. However, if the soil where the cassava is planted has high humidity, don't plant the stem cuttings too deeply.

How to harvest cassava by removing and lifting the cassava stems and tubers from the ground using a hoe or earthen fork.

The harvest age depends on the type of plant, ordinary cassava varieties can be harvested at 9 to 12 months, while early maturing cassava varieties reach 6 to 8 months.
