Enjoying the beautiful mountain air at the residents' coffee garden

What is the first thing that comes out of your mouth when you are at the foot of a mountain, especially an active volcano? Are you scared? Or you are just amazed by the scenery and the cold air there. I live in Indonesia a country that has only two seasons namely summer and rainy season, no snow, spring or autumn. And this month in my area it is very hot, almost burning my skin, because of that I need a new intake of oxygen to nourish my brain so I can think clearly, so I decided to go under the foot of Mount Sinabung, a place I often visit. visit. By taking no more than 1.5 hours drive from my house.

It's been hundreds of times I've traveled to the foot of Mount Sinabung, hundreds of times I'm not bored and will continue to visit the foot of this mountain, why? There are many reasons and I'm sure if you lived in my hot air area, you would be like me. Namely I need cool, cool air to be able to cool my brain, and I need a green view that I don't get in my area. It is at the foot of Mount Sinabung that I get what I want. And today I will visit a coffee plantation owned by a local I just met. I want to see the local coffee plantation which is right under the foot of Mount Sinabung which is only 10 km from the coffee plantation. The air here is very cool, I really feel at home in this plantation.

The coffee garden that I visited has an area of more than 5 hectares, it is very spacious, I can see how the coffee trees grow from small until the coffee beans start to ripen, I am very enthusiastic even a little too much because in my area there is no such thing. this. between the coffee trees you can see the beautiful and dashing Mount Sinabung standing and directly facing the coffee plantation that I visited, I really like it, the air has not been exposed to pollution from vehicles and factories that pollute the air, plus a nice view made me feel at home for long in this plantation and did not want to go home.

Tired of the coffee plantations I've seen, I switched to a small house or often known as the word hut. The hut is a resting place for farmers after they are tired of activities on their farms or gardens, usually they are here to take a nap, eat and store their farming equipment. Around the hut there is a small flower garden that is very simple, not much but very charming in my eyes. Because the cold mountain climate in this area causes plants and various types of flowers to thrive here. The flowers at the foot of the mountain also grow beautifully and perfectly, but if I bring these flowers and plant them in my area, then these flowers will not grow as beautiful as in this area even though they have the same care and fertilizer.

Flowers are reluctant to live and grow more beautiful, especially since I am exposed to factory pollution every day and the density of motorized vehicles..ha..ha. but all i am grateful for. If in this mountainous area we will be able to enjoy all of God's creations before they are polished by the hands of capitalism and have natural beauty and charm, but the limited facilities at the foot of this mountain must have hindered my movement, which is already accustomed to easily getting facilities, whether in the field of food, transportation, or communication.

This trip to the foot of the mountain is just to relax and calm the mind. Not for a place to live in the long term, because we live must have a balance, not just one point that we have to reach. The conclusion of this trip I really like visiting coffee plantations with very fresh air and beautiful flowers that I don't get in my area. How about you guys? Do you agree with me? Greetings from us Tomi and Maya from Binjai City, Indonesia

This makes me remember one of my dreams, to plant a coffee. If I may ask, what kind of weather does coffee like a lot?

coffee plantations in northern Sumatra and Aceh... on average they are near the mountains or those with cold climates.. maybe so that the quality of coffee is better
