Exciting times in the Hive Garden world as @artemislives takes over the running of The Herbal Hive, a sister community to our green thumbed one that focusses on discussion of medicinal and culinary herbs. I know I'll be writing a #gardenjournal post with #theherbalhive and #herbalism as secondary tags this month in support of this, and quite possibly write a dedicated post too as mugwort and lemon balm, and many other herbs, burst into life in my garden. In the northern hemisphere you might be preserving them or using their dried form for winter remedies, so that would be great to share there too. The @gardenhive will also be popping over and voting content there too so do join in your support.
You might have noticed the new look images - I do this when I get bored of the old ones, and when I get sick of a particular app! I hope you like them - but as you know, it's not what it looks like, it's how it functions and what purpose it brings as well. By now The Hive Garden is a real standard for how you all go about sharing and supporting community, and sharing your passion for gardening. Kudos!!
Well I can't believe it's November already and I know that many gardeners have would up for winter. You can still continue to support community by engaging with others and joining in the challenges. If you're hibernating a little maybe a bit of delegation to the @gardenhive account could be a good way to show your support - those votes go along way to supporting the members who post regularly.

Sigh. 😌 how right you are. It's not even about "perfect" though - just been waiting for the flood-mud to settle and dry so I don't destroy my already hard-packed-pathetic-excuse -for-soil. I was raised with manicured expectations of "garden" and I'm so far away from that it's absurd.

Wow! there is another garden journal challenge and I would love to participate on this again @riverflows.
Oh I like this because I wont be shy to show how I felt sad in some plants of our garden.
With this, we will also be seeing other problems in the garden of other gardeners and learn lessons from it. This is exciting. Hopefully I can write about it soon.

I have some drafts that I am preparing about some medicinal herbs and some plants from my garden that can be used as such. I think I've found the right Community to publish them, thanks for letting me know.
The new look is very pretty.
Unlike you and other gardeners in the northern hemisphere, from my side the task of the garden is in full swing and I am publishing some posts that show the evolution not only of my garden but also of my orchard in the middle of spring.
The idea of the tag with the username to be notified of the news seems to me a splendid idea and I would like to be added to it as @goisal.

Wow, there is another challenge to sharing gardening activities. Incidentally in my place, there is no winter because it is a tropical country. However, it's rainy season here and some plants have fallen as well as mine.
Hopefully, friends who are facing winter stay healthy and safe through it, as well as their gardens. I hope so.
I don't have a garden but I have a disastrous weed that's about to swallow us up in my environment. Can I write about that?

Hello, dear @riverflows, nice to read from other gardeners. we are almost facing winter, cold wind, rain, and darkness all make us very tired. last week when a little bit of sun was out we cleaned up the rest of the garden few tomatoes were ripe on the window. but still, red poppies and calendula keep flowering. meanwhile, read other gardener's posts and have fun. But still lots of things to write about the Indian garden and my in-law's garden from the USA. Looking forward to read all posts going to publish in November. a hug ❤️😊

Apparently, I'm growing cats these days. 😂 I think this guy was enticed by the chipmunks that usually frolic through the beds. Other than that and a little bit of lettuce, we're pretty barren for the year. I'll have to start living vicariously through all the Southern hemisphere garden journals for the next few months!
