Mouthwatering goodness!

On to one of my two star producers this year--eggplant! We've got the first of the long ones emerging that should be ready soon, but the real winners so far are the new to us Melanzane.

And here I thought melanzane was the name of a lasagne like dish made with eggplant. I never knew it was actually a type of eggplant :<)

Pickles made from homegrown cucumber sound like the (sour) bomb!
