Hello guys,

Well, Day 7 prompt Mud Puddle was a bit of a mess and stress for this poor elf that I quickly doodled today. You can have a feel of what looks like a fun day go down to this mud-ness hahaha. One second you're having a great day the next you are face first in the mud — definitely a classic elf mishap. I wanted to go with some happy colors to make up for the mishap , so I gave this little elf a bright pink bubblegum hair and a cool green tunic. The lively colors of the outfit contrasts with the earthy browns of the mud, and it still totally works with my soft, textured line work style.

Here are some images to show how I made this drawing:

Elftober is my personal art challenge running throughout October, where I create a new elf drawing every day. Inspired by the popular Inktober event, Elftober is my own initiative to focus specifically on the magical and whimsical world of elves. My goal is to draw one piece of art featuring an elf for all 31 days of the month, using a custom prompt list to spark my creativity and help me explore my drawing style. It's a fun way for me to celebrate the magical autumn season with my favorite pointy-eared friends
