Card Night

I had a chance to do some sketching today, so I drew this very busy scene of card players. It's unbelievably detailed for me I wanted to capture the feeling of a late night card game with some friends well, the inspiration is actually kids playing cards You can see all the focus in their expressions as they are laughing out loud.

I must admit, I am really pushing myself with this PenUp app. I used my usual brush for that hand-drawn, shaky look I like so much, especially on the hands and hair. I chose a bold pink background for this one because, as I mentioned in my last doodle I am still learning On that previous mysterious character I actually made a big mistake—I wanted a white background, but the settings flipped and the whole negative space became completely black instead still figuring out the work around in there but despite that error I am still sharing this art

I decided to fix it here and go with this bright pink. Even though I made that previous blunder, it taught me a lot about the layers I'm still keeping things loose on purpose because I really want you to see that a real person drew this

I think the black hair on the woman on the left might have been an echo of that black background accident, but I think it works What game do you think they are playing? Let me know.
