MY TOP TIPS FOR ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS

Having my own business is what I have ever prayed for, I know how I suffered in the hands of bosses who will always focus on themselves and never want others to grow, being an entrepreneur is never an easy step but climbing a step will always make other steps easier.

At first, all roads were blocked when I decided to take that bold step and create my empire, I called it empire because that has been my dream because I have a big business plan for myself.

My advice to anyone who would love to become an entrepreneur

NEVER BE DISCOURAGED AND FOCUS:- In other to achieve your dream, you need to be focused and determined. I remember when I was about to start learning my skill, my friends told me that instead of learning this skill why can't I search for government jobs, there are lot of advice from family and friends but my determination never to work under any boss was strong and I achieve my aim.

HAVE PASSION FOR THE BUSINESS YOU WANT TO DO:- This is my second point, do not copy anyone, always have passion for what you want to venture into, and never think because Mr A is doing it and he is making lots of money then you must do it, what if Mr A truly have passion for it but you are just jealous of him, such business can never progress, always have passion for any business you want to do.

NEVER BE AFRAID OF FAILURE:- As a business owner, never be afraid of failure, your failure today will become a stepping stone tomorrow but if you think you have failed and neglected your business such business will amount to nothing, embrace failure, and tackle it. Learn from your failure and use it as an opportunity to grow.

HAVE A BUSINESS PLAN:- So many people are victims of failed businesses because they do not have a good strategy, and they never outline their goal, this shouldn't be so when planning to have a business, always have a target so that your business will always move forward.

SEEK MENTORSHIP:- People are lagging in this aspect so much, always seek other people's opinions, I mean people who are above you in the same line of business, also seek advice from them, let them mentor you, by doing this you will achieve greatly in such business.

CONDUCT MARKET RESEARCH:- before venturing into any business, do your market research, to know people's demand for that particular thing you have in mind, to know how it is moving fast, I was selling oil perfume in my former area, the place was a school environment and I know how students do demands for this oil perfume, I made a research of the area before I decided to venture into the business and I am the first person that was selling oil perfume before other people started to join, I made lots of gains because people are always demanding for it. It is just like selling cement or building materials in a student environment, that business will never move at all because what is the relationship between students and building but if you are selling foodstuffs, cosmetics even wear then you have a good business plan, the area determine the kind of business you do.

FOCUS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE-: Some business owners are very poor at attending to customers, we know that customers are always right but customers are very frustrating, learn how to deal with crazy people and this will make your business grow, learn how to be calm and friendly when dealing with people if you want to make your business grow.
