Como suelo hacer voy viendo las imágenes a medida que aparecen en las publicaciones, esto lo hago siempre. Si alguna me llama la atención vuelvo a ella luego de terminar la lectura y la observo con más detenimiento. En esta oportunidad hice lo mismo, no sabía que nuestro amigo Emilio nos iba a dejar la invitación a pensar sobre alguna de ellas.
Luego, cuando me topé con las preguntas, no tuve ninguna duda de la imagen que más me había llamado la atención. Desde la primera vez que la vi la imagen de la muchacha capturó mi interés, me pareció muy tierna. Esa toma es un gran retrato que logró captar en la mirada de ella un sentimiento muy especial.
Pero ese efecto magnético de la imagen no se habría logrado sin el suéter amarillo, un complemento perfecto que contribuye a reforzar la emocionalidad que transmite. Trato de imaginarme la misma imagen con un suéter azul, rojo o verde, y no me gusta el resultado, siento que no tiene la misma fuerza. El amarillo es el color ideal.
En esa imagen todo está muy bien estudiado, se ve que el fotógrafo conoce su arte. La muchacha aparece completamente centrada, nuestros ojos se van directamente hacia ella, y aunque el fondo tiene muchos distractores el fotógrafo se encargo de restarle importancia mediante un desenfoque selectivo.
Luego está la pose, esa forma de enmarcar el rostro con las manos también me conectó con sentimientos de ternura, me recordó los gestos que hacen los niños cuando están pequeños. Mientras escribo voy pensando que ese gesto en particular lo vamos perdiendo con el paso de los años. No recuerdo haberlo visto de forma natural en ninguno de los adultos con los que comparto en la actualidad.
Al ver la imagen pensé en mi hija cuando era adolescente, en los tiempos en que ambos jugábamos tenis y pasábamos largas horas en las canchas de nuestra ciudad.
En algunas oportunidades cuando el resultado no era el deseado, cuando no lográbamos las metas que nos habíamos propuesto, bien sea porque nos faltaba el nivel técnico para mejorar nuestras ejecuciones o porque nos faltaba condición física, mi hija solía enmarcar su rostro con las manos, como diciendo: ¡bueno no podemos con esto, tenemos que seguir intentando…! Y al día siguiente volvíamos de nuevo con la motivación suficiente para tratar de hacerlo un poquito mejor.
La imagen también me recuerda a las dos nietas con las que he podido compartir más, sobre todo la menor que es muy expresiva. En muchos momentos también enmarca el rostro con las manos para enfatizar la emoción que está sintiendo.
Emilio nos invita a imaginar algún negocio a partir de la imagen. Al verla pensé en un negocio de publicidad que tiene un sobrino y que ha sido bastante exitoso, gracias a él se ha podido mantener en el país.
En ese tipo de negocios la conexión entre las personas es fundamental, hay que entender muy bien las motivaciones del cliente para poder diseñar las campañas que realmente le satisfagan. No es fácil transmitirle al otro la idea de alguna imagen que se tenga en la mente. A veces hay que conversar muchas horas para lograr captar la intención del otro y de ese modo hacer la propuesta que mejor se adapte al gusto y temperamento del contratante.
Un eslogan que me parece acorde con esta imagen sería algo así como: ¡ Nosotros podemos comprender lo que tú piensas…!

Then, when I came across the questions, I had no doubt about the image that had caught my attention the most. From the first time I saw it, the image of the girl captured my interest, I found it very tender. That shot is a great portrait that managed to capture a very special feeling in her eyes.
But that magnetic effect of the image would not have been achieved without the yellow sweater, a perfect complement that contributes to reinforce the emotionality it transmits. I try to imagine the same image with a blue, red or green sweater, and I don't like the result, I feel it doesn't have the same strength. Yellow is the ideal color.
In this image everything is very well studied, you can see that the photographer knows his art. The girl appears completely centered, our eyes go straight to her, and although the background has many distractors the photographer took care to subtract importance through a selective blur.
Then there is the pose, that way of framing the face with her hands also connected me with feelings of tenderness, it reminded me of the gestures that children make when they are small. As I write I am thinking that we lose that particular gesture as the years go by. I don't remember seeing it naturally in any of the adults with whom I currently share.
When I saw the image I thought of my daughter when she was a teenager, in the times when we both played tennis and spent long hours in the courts of our city.
Sometimes when the result was not the desired one, when we did not achieve the goals we had set ourselves, either because we lacked the technical level to improve our performance or because we lacked physical condition, my daughter used to frame her face with her hands, as if to say: well, we can't do this, we have to keep trying...! And the next day we would come back again with enough motivation to try to do a little bit better.
The image also reminds me of the two granddaughters with whom I have been able to share more, especially the younger one who is very expressive. In many moments she also frames her face with her hands to emphasize the emotion she is feeling.
Emilio invites us to imagine a business from the image. When I saw it I thought of an advertising business that a nephew has and that has been quite successful, thanks to him it has been able to stay in the country.
In this type of business the connection between people is fundamental, you have to understand very well the motivations of the client to be able to design campaigns that really satisfy him. It is not easy to transmit to the other person the idea of an image you have in your mind. Sometimes you have to talk for many hours to capture the intention of the other and thus make the proposal that best suits the taste and temperament of the contractor.
A slogan that seems to me to fit this image would be something like: We can understand what you think...!
