The first poll for our new Community will help us decide which bot games to add to our new Discord server.

Have your say on this matter.

Our first poll for the new Hive Diabetes Peer Support (HDPS) Community is about what game bots we should add to our new Discord server. This is your opportunity to help decide the direction that our new server will take, with regard to bot games. Will we "catch 'em all"; or bravely fight off legions of the undead; expose some Imposters and flush them out an airlock; or equip farm animals with weapons and make them fight each other? There are many and varied Discord bot games that we could add to our new server, but we want to find the most popular ones, that those who are going to be regulars in the server will enjoy the most.

A place to start.

To inspire some ideas, we have looked at some off-chain blog posts like this one, and the popular top.gg website, and have come up with a selection of ideas for you to choose from.

However, our online poll also has a space for you to suggest other bot games that are not already on our list of suggestions. You can use markdown in the fields there, so please add a link to relevant information about the game bot that you are recommending, such as to the top.gg page for it.

Once you submit a suggestion, it will appear automatically as a new embedded message in our 📊-polls channel, along with the 👍 support and 👎 reject emojis, and a link to a new thread to discuss each submission further in our server.

Voting.

Even if you don't wish to make a submission, you are still welcome to have your say, by simply voting on other peoples' submissions in our poll. Each submission will arrive in our 📊-polls channel, and you can click on either 👍 or 👎 to show that you 👍 support or 👎 reject the suggested bot game. The more votes we get, the higher the chance there is that the bot will be adopted into our server.

The poll will be completed at 23:29hrs (11:59pm) on Friday 8-Apr-2022 (ɴᴢꜱᴛ). After this, the top two voted bots will be considered by our team of 🙋 Volunteers, who will be looking at the technical aspects of both bots, to ensure that they will "fit" within our server, and won't cause any unforeseen problems, such as bots which don't allow for custom prefixes, or bots that require registration after a short period of free play.

Once the 🙋 Volunteers have had their say, an announcement will be made of the two winning bots.

Prizes.

There will be two categories of prizes for this poll. The first category will be to reward those who suggested the winning bots. The second category will be to reward those who voted for the winning bots.

Category One prizes.

For each of the two bots selected in the final round of judging by the 🙋 Volunteers, the first person who suggested the bot will win 50× $ʟᴜᴠ tokens each, donated by @wesphilbin and @crrdlx.

However, if either of the two bots selected in the final round of judging by the 🙋 Volunteers was already in the suggested list in the online poll, then everyone who voted to 👍 support that bot in the first round of voting open to all member_18px.png members, will go into a draw. Five (5) of these people will be selected at random, to receive 10× $ʟᴜᴠ tokens each, donated by @wesphilbin and @crrdlx.

Category Two prize.

For each of the two bots selected in the final round of judging by the 🙋 Volunteers, everyone who voted to 👍 support those bots in the first round of voting open to all member_18px.png members, will go into a draw. Five (5) of these people for each bot will be selected at random, to receive 200× ᴇᴄᴇɴᴄY ᴩᴏɪɴᴛꜱ each, donated by @frittro.
