History of Khmer Army - Grandpa Khleang Moeung

One day I traveled to Pursat province. I stopped for lunch at a restaurant The only food there is noodles and rice. But when I see the restaurant ,it looks modern too.

The territory of Pursat province is Sambo Prey and Phnom I heard locals say that on the road ahead there was a statue of a former warlord Locals say he is very effective What we wish for has been achieved.

People there always say that this is true.
I feel like I want to know so that I also and invited all my friends go to there in fact the statue is in a large church.
The church is next to the national road, making it very easy for us to find.

The exterior is decorated in the style of an amusement park with a variety of sculptures All photos have different backgrounds.

In general, the Cambodian people always respect and have faith. So we went to worship the statue of this famous general.

He was kept in a proper place and respected by all. The caretaker there described his true story: His name is Khleang Moeung .

Grandpa Khleang Moeung was a great general at that time He is a great hero, defends the territory well. He is very famous, his name is inscribed in Khmer history.

One day, when the enemy invaded, he used his army to fight the enemy without regrets . But because there were too many enemy forces, including the governor on the border betrayed Make he hard to resist.

Desperate, General Khleang Moeung decides to commit suicide But before he decided to do so, he said He died, this is his soul, to invite all ghosts to come and help fight

And he added that if you all hear loud noises, come in. After saying a word, he
killed himself immediately. And it came to pass after three days, that the noise of the tumult was heard Enemy troops, assuming that Taken's army had increased, fled.
