Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge is all about origami, an artform accessible to anyone with hands and sheets of paper.

     This isn't the first origami challenge we have hosted, but it's so much and so simple that I like to bring it back every now and again. Back when I used to teach preschool I had several origami patterns memorized and ready to roll at any moment, but I've since forgotten almost all of these. The one thing I can still remember is how to fold a dress shirt from a dollar bill, and I can even add a pair of pants to it if necessary.

     This challenge is simple, show me some origami, but remember that if you want to show us all how to re-create this ourselves at home you'll need to provide clear steps and good photography, or you can even go the extra step a provide a video via 3Speak, YouTube, or whatever you have access to. I really look forward to your creations and hope I can learn something new from the entries submitted.

     Balancing work and life is always easier said than done, but the following entries are certainly a good insight into how some of our community members take on this challenge. We all can benefit from seeing how each other manage the balance of work and life, and of course anything useful we see someone else doing is something we can incorporate into our own lives.

Hello to all my fellow hivers. Yesterday, when I came across the Aseanhive challenge about balancing work and life, I immediately hooked to share my own experience. I’m proud of my ability to manage all my tasks while also pursuing my hobbies. Despite my busy schedule and various obligations, I still make time for myself. Even my in-laws are amazed at how I manage everything on my own with five children, without a maid or my parents nearby, just my husband and me.

Have a great day hivers! Today was a very nice opportunity to share to you this special topic which is the new challenge in the aseanhive community about balancing life and work. Now I have the opportunity to tell you my daily routine as a full time working mom. I usually wake up at 5 am then I do my everyday exercise. I believe if I wake up early I can do lots of things. I am an ESL teacher and from 5 am to 7 am I faced my laptop for a class.
