That is kind of cool. I remember how crazy they used to get at our regular alley when it was raining and people were wearing street shoes. They basically had it roped off and you couldn't go further until you changed. It was all about safety, but I've never seen it enforced that heavily before. Having my own shoes made it much easier to quickly change.
