How come countries can't be the same? Why are they divided by rich and poor? Is it because of their leaders? Or the people? What is really behind the poverty in a country? Some factors cause poverty, and many can see and understand them. Let me list it down for you.
OVERPOPULATION
Population is a factor that affects a country's economy. Because the larger the population, the greater the supply and demand. But some countries cannot afford to give their people what they demand because of poverty. Overpopulation is an issue that most poor countries have been facing for years, and some for decades. Sometimes, poverty always comes along with overpopulation because it also justifies the law of supply and demand.
The country's population should also reflect its size. But the issue here is that some smaller countries often have larger populations than larger ones. This is overpopulation. Overpopulation can be determined by comparing a country's population to its size. There is a specific population in a particular country, and if the number exceeds a certain threshold, it can be considered overpopulation. A more prosperous country implements policies to control its population, balancing demand with the supply it can provide. Also, to avoid the increasing number of unemployed.

CORRUPTION
Corruption can also contribute to poverty. Every country has its own assets and other resources that make it rich. Sadly, sometimes the problem is with the government leaders and officials they have. Corruption is in every aspect of business and even in politics. It happens because people use their power and position to take advantage of others and steal money, too.
They can act well at first, but when things go as planned, they will eventually do the dark things they want to do. They will use their power for their own sake. And they will use their power to steal something that does not belong to them. This happens to most countries that face poverty. There are budgets for these people in the slum. There are budgets to help them, but some officials took advantage of them. They use the people's money but feel compelled to promise things during elections. Not all politicians are like this, but some are.

ACCESS TO EDUCATION
They say that education is the key to success. But what if you do not have better access to education? Will there be success? Another factor that causes poverty is a lack of access to education. Some countries offer free education, but others do not. This is why sometimes people do not have access to education, and they focus on earning money from temporary jobs. They focus on survival without thinking about the future; they just need to survive for the day. They need food on the table, not knowledge in their minds. They need more jobs, not more books and studying. This is because they cannot afford education or access it. They were left with the idea of focusing on survival rather than on learning. This is a sad reality for some countries around the world. Child labor, because they have to help their family earn a living.
Child prostitution occurs because they are too innocent to know that it’s immoral. Child extortion, because children do not see what else the world could offer to them. This is because they lack education. If a country has a large number of uneducated children, it will face serious problems for its future and its people. An extreme problem if left unsolved over the years and across generations. There would be no chance of getting out of poverty if no one worked to solve it. Someone should do something to change the future of the children, the people, the country, and the world.
