Going through the motion

Lose weight has been the greatest part of my life. I have gotten some decent result when i was younger, that's like 12 years ago. Recent years, i tried to replicate that, to no avail. Losing weight had become a stale target which i know i need to achieve, but has been finding excuse to keep on failing everytime.

I don't need to blame it on my colleague. Ever since i started having breakfast from shop, i have been slowly and steadily gaining weight, all of those I've lost 1w years ago, and then some back. A simple frie dnoodle breakfast like this, can easily cost me 1000kcal and i still don't find myself satiated.

I used to practice carnivore diet, later i found out my kidney wasn't working too well as my GFR level fell below certain level, so i started to gradually replace with more plant base diet and introduce more water, things seems to improved. However, over the years, i have slowly forgotten about the important of cutting down fatty froed food, now even bitter gourd is fried.

Had a scheduled meeting with one of our important client, which might being in million dollar business. I arrived a little too damn early, and i do not wish to waste too much of gas in the car, so i have proceed to the foodcourt to make use of their air-conditioning environment.

As you know, i am trying to stay away from over eating(more like over indulged during my heavy lunch), not long after i have stand there at the food court, their staff came to invite me to the way out if I'm not purchasing any food. Naturally, with health in mind, the next best thing to look at, is a golfer shop.

Seriously, i know golf can be very affordable kind of sports(considering we spend a small amount and share among our friends to hire a flight) that few hours of walking and swinging can be some serious calories burner. The problem is, kicking start would be a bomb. Let's not talk about the equipment, i am surprised by the price tag of this XS ladies golf shirt cost RM259. Dude, thats liek $60 for such a t-shirt.

The deal wasn't go as our expectation, despite we spend several hours trying to sell, we failed to seal the deal and the client request to further negotiate on our term. By the look of it, its either their person in charge have some sort of special preference to the other insurance company, or they're simply NOT care about our price slash deal. Either way, we have until next Wednesday, i am thinking we will stick to our current plan. There's absolutely no point going all out with price war. Medical bill is increasing, insured age is advancing, shit will definitely hits the fan sooner than later. What for waste time in money losing business? Dinner was airfried fish, fresh romaine lettuce and a bowl of soup.

Due to some miscommunication in the family, we ended up with two loaf of bread, both expired on the same date. Therefore, home minister awarded me with 4 slices of bread to sandwich with luncheon meat and fried egg. Added with a cup of coffee, there goes my "healthy" breakfast.

This has nothing to do with health. This wss sent to me by a friend. Many years ago i have decided to make a quick swap with a friend with his stock wheels to my allow wheels. I took a small amount of payment and there goes my extremely good looking wheels. I still think it was a dumb idea to let it go that time, but i guess that's just another oxymoronic thinking of mine. Had i not gotten rid of it, I wouldn't have a chance to own a set of extremely lightweight wheels at a discounted price. Bless the friend to have many more happy and safety years ahead with my beloved set of alloy wheels.

Weekend lunch was a little dull. The family has their own arrangement, and the juniors is currently sick. Not exactly sure what's going on with the world we live in today. Avid, Bovid, Covid, Dovid, whatever the hell it is, in the end it's all about medical fee. I guess we will just pray and for got general practitioner, treat it as normal flu and that's about it. My hakka noodle is kinda nice, but i still prefer to have it in my hometown.

If you're thinking a simple noodle can satisfy my taste buds, then you're wrong. Ever since i have stopped smoking, my appetite become way bigger and food tasted differently. I have added a BBQ bun.

Saturday January 18 is one of the decade important day as the lotto jackpot is hitting hundred million. People are rushing to grab a chance to take a cut or the entire jackpot prize. So happened there was an accident involving a passenger car crashes into the lotto, it was damn hilarious when this unfortunate accident photo being viraled.

After the announcement of the jackpot, it was time for dinner. My dream of sending in my resignation letter for early retirement has been postponed. Having a claypot chicken rice to seal the day. Well, i guess life is just way too hard to stop smoking, eat healthy, and still keeping sane to have a crazy job.

just curious you eat 3 meals a day? I only eat two usually lunch and dinner. I think that's a hack to lose weight o.o but i need to gain weight lol maybe future go gym when less lazy but now playing pickleball

Not that I'm not trying. I have mentioned previously, I'm getting good at pull-ups nowadays. And I think I can increase reps from 5sets x 5reps to 6? The problem is, I can't put the fork down. Now that I have stopped smoking, I find it hard to stop eating.

Not ideal to skip meal and not in my place to do so. I usually wakes up 5am then prep the kids for school, and usually by the time I finishes my work and all, that's like 12 or 1am the next day. I WILL be hungry regardless. Unless I manage to change my routine to have 10 hours sleep, maybe that will help me reduce some food intake.

hmmmmmm I'm not sure then. Maybe you have to try to find another outlet to cope with the stopped smoking D:. Not sure what it will be though. Come play pickleball haha that will help a bit. It's a good family & friends game! Trust!

Fair enough since I don't wake up that early lol. I literally slept at 7am today then just woke up at 12 @@. My sleeping is crazy. It's ok though then have to just readjust. big breakfast medium lunch and light dinner~. Light dinner because night time we not really that actively burning the calories from the food @@ at least most of the time. i'm not sure figure out what works for you . If you willing to put in the money, you could get a dietitian to help plan some meals to lose weight o.o but would probably require more cooking and not eating out which I don't think you have time for

I've been experiencing some weight fluctuations that I am not happy with lately as well. I can't really do cardio so I am on the weights now and I don't hate doing it. The dieting is difficult for me not because I crave food that is terrible for me but because the stuff like getting some meat and vegetables is either expensive comparatively, or difficult to find at all. With my new air fryer I may just have to do some research about making these things myself and once I get good enough at it, maybe do some food prep for the week. Make a day of it and just make a ton of stuff while I got some tunes on and a very jealous doggo watching my every move.

If you don't mind, I have a question with why can't do cardio.

Meal prep is important. I should really put my food where my mouth is.

Wow, I wish everyone could diet. I'm also trying to diet, but it's so hard! 😂 Whenever I see delicious food, I just eat it again.

woow! so yummmy , for me sometimes the only way to lose weight for me is to diet and fasting for 8 hours. Sometimes i only eat once a day it is effective 😁
