What we do during "All Saints Day"

Hello Everyone☺☺☺

Before this "All Saints Day" end I wanted to share what happened this day. Before pandemic hit us, every 1st day of November during at night we always went to the cemetery were the tomb of my first cousin father was put. We brought foods that were going to eat when we got hungry.

But two years had passed and we didn't able to do it because of pandemic. And now that it's seems like okay we went there. But sad to say the tomb that we went is not to my cousin father but to my father. So early this morning I asked my man to bought some ingredients for the menu that we were going to cooked. I decided to cooked Biko and Pancit. It's my first try in cooking Biko so I will share the steps on my different article.

Before we leave home we ate first our dinner and I light a candle on front of our door. As I remember you will light a candle corresponding on how many number of a member you have at your home. Actually were only 4 Me, my man, my sister and our dog. But I added 1 because of our little man.
And then at around 7:30 this evening we leave and went to the Cemetery. At first it's just me, my sister and my man but later on my cousins and friends came too.

I also brought the flowers that I ordered to my friend. And then I light up the candle and get some portion of biko and pancit and put it on my father's plate and ofcourse a water too on his cup. After that we offered a prayer and I lead it.

We had lot's of "chikkas". And it's all about the past things that happened when it's All Saints Day. Before there are so many people but now it's just few so we went home early.

This what happened today. It's a bit tiring but it's all okay because it was for my father. I miss him so badly and ofcourse my mom too. I love them both and I will never ever forget them even a single second of my life.
