A Day in My Life Blog: The Much-awaited 3rd Grand Alumni Homecoming of Cabalantian National High - My Alma Mater 😇🤗😊

Yesterday I shared here my "A Day in my Life" even which shows that I have attended two events from the Monthly Meeting I attended up to the preparation for our upcoming big event the next day which is our High School's 3rd Grand Alumni Homecoming. To see the whole story, you can check it here.

Now, the much-awaited event we have this year most especially for my batch mates who have prepared a lot for this event to be successful. We thank God for giving us strength and courage knowing that last night was so hard for us to decorate for it was raining so we have decided to continue it today.

I just arrived at the Campus at around 7:00 in the morning and attended the early Mass for this event. I have to go also to our Booth to help my batch mates with other things needed to finish our booth and the float decorations.

After the mass, the float parade and motorcade will be followed, and so we need to prepare ourselves for it was about to start. Our booth and table set up are not yet finished, and so we have two batchmates who didn't join us to the Motorcade to finish all of it.

Finally, the float and Motorcade have now started, which means that the 3rd Grand Alumni Homecoming of Cabalantian National High School has finally started. It started from the School to Barangay Tuod then went to the Capital of the Municipality and back to the School. It was a very exciting and memorable moment to attend this event this year.

The float and Motorcade ended around 10:00 in the morning then a program was started, and unexpectedly I was called to open the program in a prayer. I was shocked a bit because it was on the spot, and I didn't know that I was going to pray for the event, but it was a privilege for me.

Lots of activities and competitions happened from table settings, food displays, float parades, and a lot more. Knowing that it was already noon, all of us were very hungry and again I was called to pray for the food. Then it is time for us to eat, and look at our food today, all are yummy and delicious which makes us very full.

We took a break for a while then it continued at 1:30 in the afternoon. We also have lots of activities in the afternoon like the Prince and Muse Competition, Cheering by Batch, on-the-spot dance by batch, and a lot more that make the whole crowd happy and make the whole event alive.

Every one of us is very happy and it seems like we all remember our high school days. Now at around 3:30 in the afternoon, even though the program is not yet over. I have decided to go as I have other things needed to do but thank God for everything went well from morning until the afternoon.
