Primitive Way To Cut Down A Coconut Tree In Philippines

There are so many ways and techniques to cut down any tree and the easiest way is to use a chainsaw of course, but what if you have a tight space like in your neighborhood and you're cutting a tall tree and when it falls may cause destruction or even injury to anyone nearby.

Here in our village, there is a lumberjack who specializes in cutting down tall trees in tight spaces. Let me share with you how he manages to cut down the coconut tree which stands in between the neighborhood. What he did was he took off all the coconut palm first, balding it so that it would be easy for him to move around when he's on top.

The lumberjack plans to cut the coconut tree gradually, he cannot afford to cut it down all at once because he is certain that it would hit houses nearby. As you notice there is a rope attached on the top of the tree and made a cut point using the bolo.

After securing the cut points the lumberjack will go down.

He will then pull off the top portion of the tree with the rope he attached earlier and it went well as he planed, nothing harmed it was a clean-cut after all. He did the same process with the remaining lumber of the tree. Isn't it a cool strategy? with just a simple tool he managed to cut down a tall tree without damaging nearby houses.

He didn't even have any companion on cutting the tree it's just pure strategy and skills. After all, he's the most experienced lumberjack in the village who can do the primitive way to cut down a coconut tree. The coconut tree measures about 50 feet more or less anyways. Leave a comment below if you know someone who had the same skill set as this lumberjack I featured.

It may look simple in the photos, but this kind of work requires plenty of physical strength and even more problem-solving skills. Respect to this enterprising and hard-working man.

Sure it is sir, the effort of going up on the tree alone and cuting the portion of it using one hand is way more difficult and risky.
