RE: Photos A Day Last Week (Danang, Vietnam)

Well, don't let one person's opinion have too much of an effect on you, and of course easier said than done, I realize. Your posts are exciting to read, I can testify to that even if I've never hung out with you in person. I am a cook/teacher by trade, and I originally tried to post content like that when I first started Hivin'.

For whatever reason, either my content was boring and/or I was bored with the content I was creating. Hive has evolved into something much more personal for me now, and I almost never share recipes and anything to do with teaching, mostly cause the pandemic ruined my online classes.

There's no doubt you're a talented photographer, and no Hive post is complete without some engaging images, so don't ever stop doing that. But perhaps you can venture out into new types of content, you may find it easier to write about certain topics. I for one already like your writing style and the way your writing compliments your photos, you certainly don't need to change anything for me.

Thanks for such a thoughtful response @justinparke.

There is a saying, that if you want to know the road ahead, you ask those coming back. So I do appreciate your heads up and guidance as we look to the future.

It is nice to know that people do read your work and take time to leave, such as this. I'm going to stop by your page and check out some your recipes as well. :D

!luv and !pizza my friend!

P.S

I see you are the founder of the Asian HIVE community, Nice. I am having a little success in getting a Vietnamese Hive community growing here as well. Lots of talented people with stories to share. Thanks for all you do!

That's good good to see individual communities springing up, definitely only support from all of us here, no competition. At the time I created ASEAN Hive, only the Philippines was represented well on this platform. I really wanted to give other Southeast Asians a place where they could make friends and build a reader base, which at that time relied mainly on the Filipina/os reaching out. But now there is a decent Malaysian presence, tons of Indonesians, and a bit of Thai and Myanmar Hivers as well. I still think Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos are underserved communities on Hive. I wish you good luck with you're project, I'll be sure to check it out soon.
