Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I will take my friends to see a natural tourist attraction in my district. It is a dam among beautiful nature. This dam is located in Lan Village, Mon Pin Subdistrict. Local people call it Ban Lan Dam. On this trip, I drove around the district with my wife. After we sent our son and granddaughter to school, I drove on highway 107 and the rural road to Mon Pin Subdistrict.

From this arch to the dam is about 18 kilometers away. My wife and I passed many villages, both local Thai villages and ethnic villages. And many beautiful local farms. Although the distance is 18 kilometers, But it took us about 2 hours to reach this dam. I drove around the sub-district to enjoy the view before reaching the dam.

There are officers at the dam area, I parked at a small parking lot outside the dam and walked to the dam. The dam area has a fence. But you can walk in the dam area through a small door.
Inside the dam area, there is a pavilion for sitting and enjoying the view of the dam area.
The view and atmosphere around this dam is very beautiful. I think it's a perfect natural view. We have a great time, even though we had to drive several kilometers, but it was worth the visit on this trip. And I want to share this view with friends. Take a look and enjoy.

I used to live within cycling distance of this dam 5 years ago and would bike up there once a week or so. It is such a peaceful place because unless you work there or you are sight-seeing, there is no reason for the cars and motorbikes to be there. I loved it up there and would sit in the little shacks and have a beer and a somtum and sticky rice. I miss those days, we don't really have it here in Da Nang.

The pavilion to seat makes it very interesting to watch the view of the dam. It is so natural there at the dam. And, I enjoy watching the photos, from the time's you get passed the villages and to the dam. An interesting journey.
