Hello everyone. Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand has 4 Yunnan Chinese villages. But there is one Yunnan Chinese village that is quite famous and has many tourist attractions. This village is called Ban Noong Bua. I've shared the hot springs and local food (yunnan food) in this village in an old my posts. And this post, I take everyone to see the shrine, The place that is respected and believed by the people in the village. This shrine is Kuan Im (goddess of mercy) Shrine.
Although this shrine is small and has less space than the shrine in Yang Village. (Yunnan Chinese Village in Fang District). But the Chinese style buildings and Chinese god statue of this shrine look beautiful and interesting.
When my wife and I arrived at the shrine. The shrine area is quiet and has a small stream. And the area in front of the shrine is a view of the village.
In front of the shrine, the wall and the front entrance arch of the shrine.
When entering the shrine. There are two Chinese-style buildings and a Chinese-style pavilion.
Inside this Chinese style pavilion, there are statues of 6 Chinese gods. I'm sorry, Even though I am a thai-chiness descent. But I don't know what each Chinese god is.
The first Chinese style building was a large building. Inside this Chinese-style building, there is a Buddha statue in the center, Statues of the Smiling Buddha and Monk Xuanzang is on the left, Statues of the Goddess of mercy and God Yulai are on the right. I like all the statues, these statues are large and look beautiful. And the backs of these statues are decorated with paintings, looking beautiful as well.
Another Chinese style building is a small building. Inside this building, there is also a statue of the goddess of mercy. But the statue is small. There were also three small gold color statues and a small buddha statue. I think they were the statues of the goddess of mercy and god yulai. Another statue I don't know.
Outside the building in the courtyard of the shrine are many large Chinese style incense burners.
Additionally, there are large Chinese style kilns for burning Chinese offering paper.
Other atmospheres within the shrine include trees and flowers.
When we walked outside the shrine. Beside the shrine is a small Chinese style building. Inside this Chinese style building is a statue of the goddess of mercy. And the back of the statue is decorated with a painting.
