Hi hi... I am @luueetang. Good morning.. how has your day been like? Is everything great ? I went overseas for almost a week. Going to write a backdated post. I got back two days ago. This is my journey out to Thailand and back. Four flights in total.

5 am. I woke up. Long journey ahead.

Just a day ago, I was working till quite late. Had to get everything correct. Checked if my boarding pass was printed, checked everything. Slept quite late. 12 am. A couple of hours till the flight at 9.40am. Had to reach two hours before flight.

My mom woke up early and drove my wife and I all the way to the airport. We ate breakfast early at about 6am. Luckily, most stalls had already opened.

Then, finally we arrived at Miri airport.

Lots of passengers were already there ready to board the plane. Got my luggage scanned at the security scanner.

It's great to look at a clean floor. Immaculate. That's the best definition for this.

Deep inside, I felt excited. It's been a long while since I last flew on an aircraft and this time, it was to the land of smiles. The last time I visited Thailand was more than two decades ago.

Got through the security checkpoint. Since it was a Sarawak flight, there wasn't a need for any passport checks. Smooth process.

I love the view of the sun rise. The light that shines on the floor. Early in the morning waiting for the plane to arrive. It was a matter of time before boarding. Slowly and gradually, the seats filled up. All packed. Ready. Some were with kids, there were also those who sat near the charging area to get their phones charged.

Calm. The morning sun. The time when it isn't hot and yet there is some warmth..

Snapped a photo of the checkpoint. Some passengers were still coming into the airport. Getting their boarding pass checked and ready to head towards the waiting area.

My phone has some sort of beauty filter. Makes me look more feminine. I wore that green shirt. Made my wife's lips more red. My wife is really good at searching for places to eat, places to explore. Me. Well, I am good at making sure that it works and the navigation parts. The technicalities of getting it running smoothly. Different strengths combined.

More passengers arriving.

A long day awaited us. At night, we had another flight and that was off to Penang, West Malaysia. 2 hours flight from Kuching via Airasia.

Finally, it was time to board. This is the best view. It gets me every single time. I just love looking at the planes and in Sarawak all flights now have to have that compulsory passenger walking bridge. Requested by the transport minister in Sarawak.

AirAsia

Miri airport handles up to 2 million passengers annually and is the sixth most busiest airport in Malaysia. There are direct flights from Miri to Singapore.

Waiting to board the plane. I've recorded so much video during this whole trip that I've never done before in my entire life. More than 200gb of video. Will be uploading then to YouTube slowly. Sharing my journey. If your interested to know how to get into Hatyai from Sarawak or Penang, this is the post that you should be reading. I am writing this so in the future, I can check back if I need any information.

Everyone with their bags ready preparing to board the airplane. Queueing up. In Sarawak, no one rushes so everyone stands in line and wait. No pushing. Just chilling.

AirAsia and Mas

Mas or Malaysian airlines used to be one of the best airlines in the world till two planes crashed. Ever since that time on, the national carrier has never been the same. At the moment, Malaysia doesn't have a strong national carrier. So everyone books AirAsia.

Boarded

The smell of the cabin. Walking along the aisle. Looking at the safety demonstration. placing my bag up above in the cabin compartment. Then there is the view of the scenery from the windows. I can fly.
