The SONY Camera is about 15 years old now, same for the Phenom housing. The Lumix GH4 and Nauticam housing are 8 years old. Thanks for the kind words on the video - the camera really does take amazing images.
The first camera and housing I retired several years ago, but the video was from the GH4 - it still shoots beautiful footage though is certainly an older piece of tech now. Thanks for your kind words.
Seriously interesting video and would love to see more of your dives. I used to do quite a bit of underwater diving off Cape Point around Buffels Bay until it got too dangerous with too many sharks. Mainly cray fishing for food that we cooked on the beach as it is a sanctuary and nothing is allowed to leave the bay area.
Thanks for that! Im unfamiliar with those places you mention. But crayfish on the beach sounds bloody awesome! is this in USA? thanks for reading my post and watching the video!
As we say - it's the guy behind the gun that makes the difference, not the camera. A bigger camera does making underwater filming easier though as the camera becomes more stable so easier to get a steady shot.
Masterpiece indeed. What's the camera age?!
Amazing video images 😍
