Replacing the broken plate number

About four months ago, I experienced a minor accident. As a result of that minor accident, one of the license plate numbers on my scooter broke off from its board.

Unfortunately, due to my hectic work schedule, I couldn't find the time to replace the damaged plate number. It was up until today, I forgot to visit any workshop to address the issue.

Earlier today, I attended a training session at the distributor's office. The training ended earlier than scheduled. While I was heading home, I suddenly remembered that I still hadn't replaced the broken license plate number.

So, I decided to make a detour and stop by the bike workshop that is located near my housing area. The workshop is known as 'Amani Motor Trading.' This is not my usual workshop and this is also my first time going to this particular workshop.

Upon arriving at the workshop, I straight away take a look at the selection of license plates they had available. My goal was to find a plate that was not too fancy. This is to avoid breaking the license plate design law that has been set by the Malaysia Road Transport Department.

After checking out some samples, I took a liking to one design which is simple and neat. I told the salesperson which plate design that I wanted and paid for it. I was charged MYR30 for the plate number. It can be considered a bit expensive. But I can't delay replacing the plate number anymore.

I was hit from behind after evading a fallen motorcycle on the highway. I was lucky that nothing serious happened to me or my scooter. But as a result, one of the numbers was broken off the plate number board.

This workshop is located 100 meters away from my house. It is conveniently near. The only downside is the price of the parts sold here is on the high side

Removing and putting on the new plate number can easily be done by yourself. However, since the installation service was free and I did not want to get my hands dirty, I asked the mechanic to do it for me.
