Never try it , but it look delicious plus you mention it was popular food in Thailand. I hope i have the opportunity to test it in future.

If you find yourself in Thailand just find an Isaan restaurant and order basically anything. Most of the dishes from this part of the country have a similar taste to them and most people really enjoy it.
