Attending the Orientation for Baby Baptism

Last week, one of my old classmate chatted me about something and it's about her baby that is about to get baptism but there are lots of processes to get into baptism for a child in her religion that is Roman Catholic.

I was once a roman catholic before I met my wife but I converted to another religion just like my wife's religion because my wife insisted me into converting to her religion so that we can go together when we go to church.

Anyway, as we chatted with my old classmate about me becoming a godfather to her new baby and I didn't hesitate on saying yes on becoming a godfather and then she is asking if I am available last Sunday to go to the orientation of the baptism.

I said to her that I am available that I can go to the orientation of the flow and processes of the baptism.

I thought that the location of the orientation is at the back of the church in the catholic because before, when it was my nephews baptism, they have a small orientation at the back of the church but this time, it was located a few blocks away from the church and it's one of the school building in the kindergarten school.

There are at least 17 babies that are about to get baptism but they have different schedules on their baptism day. I never expected that there are many babies that are going to get baptize because they usually have at least 5 to 10 but this time, there are 17 babies.

The orientation started 9 in the morning and ended before lunch which is almost 12 noon. It last for at least 3 hours of orientation with different kinds of speakers that they will speak in front of the people and each of the speaker have at least an hour to speak in front of everyone with each of them have different topics that they share.

There are many learnings that we gain from that orientation and I'm glad to become a godfather and at the same time, I am happy that I also listened to the speakers, too.
