Sorrows --- Monomad --- Eng/Esp

I did this exercise a while ago one night on my patio. I covered my daughter with a perforated cloth and took several photos, testing angles of light and poses. It has been one of the best photo sequences achieved in my short time of this passion for photography. I hardly had to edit anything on the photo I chose to feature on 52frames that day. I used a red gel because I wanted to express despair. You can see it published here. I called her Llorona. I was inspired for the title by the animated film Coco and the song that talked about that character from the Mexican imaginary. I couldn't get it out of my mind since I first heard it.
So today while searching through my archives to post on this community, I came across this shoot and decided to put together three of the photos taken that day to somehow match the one I posted here a few days ago with the Android series. Hope you like!

Hice este ejercicio hace un tiempo una noche en mi patio. Tapé a mi hija con una tela perforada e hice diversas fotos probando ángulos de luz y poses. Ha sido de las secuencias de fotos mejor logradas en mi corto tiempo de esta pasión por la fotografía. Casi no tuve que editar nada de la foto que escogí para presentar en 52frames ese día. Usé un gel rojo porque quería expresar desesperación. La pueden ver publicada aquí. La llamé Llorona. Me inspiré para el título en el filme de animación Coco y la canción que hablaba de ese personaje del imaginario mexicano. No me la pude quitar de mi mente desde que la oí por primera vez.
Entonces hoy mientras buscaba en mis archivos para publicar en esta comunidad, me topé con esta sesión y decidí unir tres de las fotos hechas ese día para que de alguna manera hicieran juego con la que publiqué aquí hace unos días con la serie Androide. Espero que les guste!
