With today's article i end the visit to this ancient site already covered in previous articles, and in which i share a compilation of the best records.
The Castro de Monte Mozinho Ruins are located about 40 km from the city center of Porto, the capital of the North of the country.
In this place it is possible to get to know a little about the history and lifestyle in the late Iron Age and early Roman period, strategically located on the Roman road that linked the city of Braga to Mérida (the capital of Lusitania).
When we arrived at the top of Monte Mozinho, we were able to perfectly identify the Castro through the visible ruins that remain of these villages located in high places, with strong defensive characteristics, surrounded by three belts of stone walls, with circular houses and that usually grouped between 20 and 50 people, most of them family members and with a chief.
