The reflection of the seagull in Chile | MONOMAD CHALLENGE
Hello my dear friends of the Black and White community! This time I participate in the #monomad challenge with these black and white reflections of seagulls. You will see several photos of these birds in the following days, if I manage to make the edits I have in mind to bring you a little of the magic of these birds.
I had not realized, until that day, that seagulls are black and white birds, except for their beaks and legs.
With my travels along different coasts, they have ended up becoming one of my favorite birds, although I know that many people don't like them very much because they are becoming a kind of plague that competes with pigeons for little to intrude in the cities in search of food.
The truth is that I have never had to deal with them because I have not yet lived on a coast, so for the time being, I will continue to love them.
I like their faces, their wings, their flight, their way of approaching me when you are near, their incredible intelligence.

El reflejo de la gaviota en Chile | MONOMAD CHALLENGE
Hola mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de Black and White! En esta ocasión participo del #monomad challenge con estos reflejos de gaviotas en blanco y negro. Verán varias fotos de estas aves en los siguientes días, si es que logro hacer las ediciones que tengo en mente para acercarles un poco de la magia de estos pájaros.
No me había dado cuenta, hasta ese día, que las gaviotas son aves en blanco y negro, excepto por sus picos y patas.
Con los viajes por diferentes costas, se han terminado por convertir en unas de mis aves preferidas, aunque sé que muchas personas no las quieren demasiado porque se están convirtiendo en una especie de plaga que compite por poco con las palomas, por inmiscuirse en las ciudades en busca de comida.
La verdad es que nunca he tenido que lidiar con ellas porque no he vivido aún en una costa, por lo que por el momento, las seguiré amando.
Me gustan sus rostros, sus alas, su vuelo, su manera de acercarme cuando estás cerca, su increíble inteligencia.
Some of you may already know that I am a seagull lover, so whenever I am in coastal places, I look for them, watch them, take pictures of them, both when they are still and when they are flying.
The hotel where we stayed with my parents in Chile, had a particularity, and that is that it had a swimming pool and was a few blocks from the sea. About three blocks away. In fact, the sea could be seen right from the pool.
This caused some birds to come to drink water from the hotel itself, so I took advantage of the opportunity to take pictures of them on different occasions, as we sat there with my parents to enjoy some mates at sunset.
At this moment, you will see the reflections that were generated in the water by that seagull that very flirtatiously walked along the edge of the pool looking for something to eat. After a few minutes, the bird went down the steps and leaned down to drink water, and there I captured the images you can see in this publication.
Algunos de ustedes ya sabrán que soy una amante de las gaviotas, por lo que siempre que ando por lugares costeros, las busco, las observo, les tomo fotografías, tanto cuando están quietas como cuando vuelan.
El hotel en donde nos hospedamos con mis padres en Chile, tenía una particularidad, y es que contaba con una piscina¡ina y se encontraba a pocas cuadras Del Mar. Unas tres aproximadamente. De hecho, el mar se veía justo desde la pileta.
Esto provocaba que algunas aves se acercaran a beber agua del mismo hotel, por lo que aproveché para tomarles fotos en diferentes ocasiones, ya que nos sentábamos ahí con mis padres a disfrutar de unos mates en el atardecer.
En este momento, verán los reflejos que se generaban en el agua por esa gaviota que muy coqueta andaba por la orilla de la piscina buscando algo para comer. Tras unos minutos, el ave bajó los escalones y se inclinó para tomar agua, y ahí capturé las imágenes que pueden ver en esta publicación.
