Hi everybody.
How are you today? I hope everything in your life goes well. Today, I'm back to being active on the hive blog. As always for me, I'll be sharing some monomad visuals with all of you in honor of this truly wonderful community.
Here are some photos of residents who were displaced due to the flood that occurred in early 2022. Compared to the previous year, the flooding that occurred during that period was the worst. Due to the high intensity of rain in this area which causes overflow of river water, this area is often flooded.
Hundreds of residents were forced to flee to higher ground due to flooding. This is because a number of houses in the area were flooded. As can be seen in my monomad visualization. Some of their villagers fled to high-rise buildings. This structure is commonly referred to as "Meunasah" or "surau". Residents who have been evacuated must remain in this location until the water that has flooded their homes recedes.
These are some monomad visuals that I created as part of my entry into this community-hosted black and white photography challenge.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge contest, hosted and curated by @monochromes.
