Everyone needs a holiday, maybe that's a sentence that isn't tendentious in my opinion. In a year, how many times do you go on holiday? Whether it's a small holiday or going abroad. I myself have never been abroad, at most I have been on holiday between provinces and still in my country.
Every time you go on holiday, of course you leave all your work behind, you don't think about work, you just want to have fun and spend time with your family. In a year I only have free time to go on vacation once, and it's really a vacation, not a trip for work or other purposes.
For holidays I usually spend a maximum of 3 days. I can't overdo it yet, because I have responsibilities for the culinary business that I have built so far. I have 10 permanent employees, and usually I invite them along, we are like family, so I don't think it's too much if healing with them is a reward for their dedication to working for me all this time.
On this occasion last year, I invited everyone to go on holiday to Lake Lut Tawar, which is located in the Gayo highlands, Central Aceh, Aceh province. From my city to get to Lake Lut Tawar it takes about 4 hours by road with a distance of approximately 120 km. I booked a campsite on the edge of the lake, camping is a very pleasant experience rather than looking for a hotel. Moreover, the atmosphere offered by the camping land owner is on the shore of Lake Lut Tawar.
Arriving at Lake Lut Tawar in the evening, we decided to rest while burning a campfire on the edge of the lake. The weather here is cold, different from on the coast of Aceh; Gayo highland is a mountainous area in the center of Aceh province. That night the weather was drizzling and it was very unhealthy outside the tent, we chose to rest early so we could wake up early and breathe fresh air by the lake.
The children woke up early, they really enjoyed this holiday. I provide a new experience for them, at least they already know the meaning of camping in nature, even though it's not in the wild.
They started to leave the tent and enjoy the rest of last night's campfire, breathing in the fresh air and cold weather near the embers of the fire, while occasionally warming their bodies. I think they really enjoyed it.
I took the time to take several picture frames on the edge of the lake, Lut Tawar is a lake surrounded by mountains located in Central Aceh district. This lake stretches in the middle of Takengon city which is the capital of Central Aceh district.
Dramatic morning clouds add to the beauty of the lake which is the source of water for almost a quarter of Aceh province. The majestic mountains surround the lake like a natural dam formed to protect the surrounding area as a wall. I really enjoyed the panorama that morning on the edge of the lake, all my tiredness seemed to drift away and be carried away by the splashing waves of the lake which were slowly being swept by the cool, gentle breeze.
That's part of the story of the beauty of Lake Laut Tawar, which is a holiday destination for me and the employees at my culinary stall. I summarized it for this Monomad Challenge entry.
