Scavenge for hope at the Cunda River

I'm one of those who rarely bid on fish prices in the market, it's not unreasonable; Seeing fishermen struggle to earn their livelihood on the Cunda river (the only river in my city where traditional fishermen depend for their economy) is very sad. Like the pictures I got today, several times the nets were anchored to get the catch, but not always as expected.

I waited and captured a second time, the results were still nil. It is inconceivable how many times they anchored their nets to get a satisfactory catch. Which amazed me; the persistence of those who can still smile even though the nets are anchored, the catch is still nil.

Below is the third time, while shooting I hope there is a catch to be had. Again, this hope does not match reality. Just an empty net with no catch to get.

In this Monomad Challenge, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos catched by my camera; Scavenge for hope at the Cunda River. Well, have a nice weekend, and enjoy the pictures!
