One of the things that I love besides photography is to admire architecture, all kinds of architecture although I am more inclined to classical, ancient, those with huge Doric columns and domes, neoclassical or French academicist, brutalist and obviously more neo-Gothic. But this time we focus on modern architecture... Large business buildings located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero in the city of Buenos Aires.
Una de las cosas que me apasiona además de la fotografía es admirar la arquitectura, todo tipo de arquitectura aunque me inclino más por la clásica, antigua, aquellas que tienen enormes columnas dóricas y cupulas, neoclásicas o academicista francés, brutalistas y obviamente más neogóticas. Pero en esta ocasión nos enfocamos en arquitectura moderna... Grandes edificios empresariales ubicados en el barrio de Puerto Madero en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Standing from the bridge of the woman you can see more in detail all these buildings that adorn this part of the city, with a focal length of 200mm I decided to take some pictures to look for some perspectives, angles and try to get some symmetry at the same time.
Parado desde el puente de la mujer se pueden observar más en detalles todos estos edificios que adornan está parte de la ciudad, con una distancia focal de 200mm decidí hacer algunas fotos para buscar algunas perspectivas, ángulos y tratar de conseguir algo de simetría a su vez.
Expressing them in black and white is great in my opinion because I think it is better to appreciate the texture, details and it tends to be somehow more nostalgic depending on the scenery as well.
On this occasion I do not intend to mention which are each of these buildings or what uses they have, name of the headquarters or anything like that, they are simply to be appreciated in a better way according to your critical and photographic eye. Highlighting windows, balconies, tops of towers, shadows, black and whites, contrasts and much more. This is my entry for the monomad challenge and I hope you enjoy them.
Expresarlas en blanco y negro es genial a mi parecer pues creo que se apreciar mejor en cuanto a la textura, detalles y suele ser de cierta forma más nostálgico dependiendo del escenario también.
En esta ocasión no pretendo mencionar cuáles son cada uno de estos edificios ni que usos tienen, nombre de las sedes ni nada por estilo, simplemente están para apreciarse de mejor forma según su ojo crítico y fotográfico. Destacando ventanas, balcones, parte superior de las torres, sombras, blancos y negros, contrastes y mucho más. Esta es mi entrada para el reto monomad y espero que las disfruten.
