Capturing Serenity: A Connection Through the Lens ESP/ENG

There's something in Mariana's gaze that transmits a lot of peace to me. Her eyes are light, but that's not what makes them special. Whenever I photograph someone, I look for that something the person has that makes me connect more with them and exploit more of it in my photographs.

Algo tiene Mariana en su mirada que me transmite mucha paz con ella. Sus ojos son claros pero no es eso lo que los hace especiales. Siempre que fotografío a alguien busco ese algo que tiene la persona que me hace conectar más con ella y explotar más de ello en mis fotografías.

I don't consider myself a fantastic photographer, to be honest. I think I'm a good photographer, but not the greatest in photography, and on many occasions, I don't manage to get the person being photographed to empathize with my way of observing, but it's something I have to do to feel like I'm doing the work.

No me considero un fotógrafo fantástico, a decir verdad. Creo que soy un buen fotógrafo, pero no el más grande en la fotografía, y en muchas ocasiones no logro que la persona fotografiada empatice con mi manera de observar, pero es algo que tengo que hacer para sentir que estoy haciendo el trabajo.

Mariana came with her family, which is a very lovely family, and it was a quite calm and pleasant photo session. I feel like I managed to connect with Mariana and what she offered me, but this is always a bit random.

Mariana fue con su familia, la cual es una familia muy linda, y fue una sesión de fotos bastante tranquila y grata. Siento que logré conectarme con Mariana y lo que me ofrecía, pero esto siempre es un poco azaroso.

I did this photo session in a studio that is not my own, and because of that, it also changes a bit the way I can approach photography. I really liked the result, but the capture and editing were difficult for me due to the complications of the space. Even so, it's a session I enjoyed, and I hope you like it too.

Esta sesión de fotos la hice en un estudio que no es mi estudio y por ello también cambia un poco la forma en la que puedo abordar la fotografía. A mí el resultado me gustó bastante, pero la captura y la edición me fueron difíciles debido a las complicaciones del espacio. Aun así, es una sesión que disfruté y espero a ustedes también les guste.
