Walking Among Buildings

The east of Caracas is an area characterized by its high land value, it is in this way that large companies seek to build their largest and most impressive headquarters there, thus generating a kind of real estate competition that seeks to present the public with daring, modern and dazzling designs. It is for this reason that when walking on Francisco de Miranda Avenue we can find huge architectural complexes, which stand out for the use of glass, concrete and mainly with totally avant-garde structures.

El este de Caracas es una zona que se caracteriza por su alto valor del suelo, es de esta forma como las grandes empresas buscan levantar allí su más grande e impresionantes sedes, generando esta forma una especie de competencia inmobiliaria que busca presentarle al público diseños atrevidos, modernos y deslumbrantes. Es por esta razón que al caminar sobre la avenida Francisco de Miranda podemos encontrar enormes complejos arquitectónicos, los cuales se destacan por el uso del cristal, el concreto y principalmente con estructuras totalmente vanguardistas.

It is an area where architecture sets the tone throughout the urban profile, but where we also find small natural features that give the whole area a touch of life and excitement. The Lido Center, the Galipán Center or the Country Club Tower, are just a small example of that Caracas that seeks to continue walking along the path of development and modernism, where little by little the old structures are being left in the memory and new skyscrapers that impose a trend and at the same time make a difference in relation to their surroundings are being erected.

Es una zona en donde la arquitectura marca la pauta en todo el perfil urbano, pero en donde también encontramos pequeños rasgos naturales que le aportan a toda el área un toque de vida y emoción. El Centro Lido, el Centro Galipán o la Torre Country Club, son solo un pequeño ejemplo de esa Caracas que busca seguir caminando por la senda del desarrollo y el modernismo, en donde poco a poco van quedando en el recuerdo las viejas estructuras y con se levantan nuevos rascacielos que imponen una tendencia y al mismo tiempo marcan la diferencia con relación a su entorno.

Cuando hablamos de arquitectura lo primero que se nos viene a la mente son trazos firmes, líneas rectas y estructuras visualmente robustas y pesadas, las cuales gracias a interesantes diseños logran romper paradigmas y se elevan hacia el cielo como un reflejo de la perfección y la creatividad que ha logrado desarrollar la humanidad a lo largo de los siglos.
