Hi !!! 🤗
It's been a while since I posted for personal reasons that I explain in my previous post, but I've always kept up to date!
However, I'm here again. Yeii!!!😊
Now with better conditions to be able to make an active life again in Hive and my favorite communities.
I start today with some pictures I took with my cell phone. I'll tell you the context.
In Cuba, life sometimes imposes some particularly interesting challenges. That's a complete understatement, by the way.
But people, whatever country we are from, tend to be very resilient. My husband is an architect, but on one occasion we needed to put an iron fence at the entrance of our house. When we started asking for prices, the numbers were exorbitant. And yes, here an architect does not earn a good salary.
But at my mother's house, there was a big fence. One of those super old ones but in a great condition. Besides, things like that are no longer made to last.
So we decided to refurbish it to use it again. That's where the resilient part comes out, and that's where my husband, not being a blacksmith, decided to fix it himself.
A friend, a carpenter, has a factory and we did the work there.
I was the assistant hehehehe.
The place is very interesting because of all the pieces of old machinery that it has, besides of great size. All very industrial. I was sorry I didn't have my camera at hand, but there was no way I was going to miss capturing some details.
Here are some of those photos and I worked on them to give them a more antique and slightly cinematic touch.
Hope you like them and see you soon! 😜
