Hello everyone here in #Hive!.... Today, for some unknown reason, the world seems upside down..... And not that's a bad thing, but I simply wanted to clarify before I started writing.... For me, making these posts is a catharsis (a lovely one, of course).... But almost always the lines that I write at the bottom of my photos are a reflection of my mood of the day... But here we go... 😎

Hola a todos aquí en #Hive... Hoy, por alguna razón desconocida, el mundo parece patas arriba... Y no es que eso se algo malo, sino que simplemente quería aclararlo antes de comenzar a escribir... Pues hacer estas publicaciones es para mi una catarsis (una encantadora, pos supuesto)... Pero casi siempre las lineas que escribo al pie de mis fotos son un reflejo de mi humor del día... Pero aquí vamos... 😎

Some of the streets here are really horrible.... Then some people stop and ask me things like: Why do you take pictures in these ugly streets and not in the squares and avenues that look nicer...? Then, depending on my mood, I usually explain to them that I like the drama of the ordinary streets and the people there... But if I'm visiting "my dark side" I just tell them to fuck off without thinking about it too much...

Algunas calles aquí son realmente horribles... Entonces algunas personas se detienen y me preguntan cosas como: ¿Porqué haces fotos en estas calles feas y no en las plazas y avenidas que lucen más bonitas?... Entonces, dependiendo de mi humor, suelo explicarles qué me gusta el drama de las calles comunes y corrientes y de la gente allí... Pero si estoy de visita en "mi lado obscuro" simplemente les mando al carajo sin pensarlo demasiado...

About two decades ago, a psychologist (to whom I was sent from the company where I worked, for various reasons that are not relevant) sweetly told me (while I smoked a Marlboro on his couch) that I suffered from "Bipolar Disorder"... After getting furious and trying to attack him, I bought him some beers and we ended up talking happily... I think he was right... Although I didn't go back to his office and ended up quitting my job a few months later...

Cerca de dos décadas atrás un psicólogo (al cual me enviaron desde la empresa donde yo laboraba, por diversas razones que no vienen al caso) me comentó dulcemente (mientras yo fumaba un Marlboro en su diván) que yo sufría de "Trastorno bipolar"... Después de enfurecerme e intentar agredirlo, le invité algunas cervezas y terminamos hablando alegremente... Creo que tenía razón... Aunque no volví a su consulta y terminé renunciando a mi trabajo algunos meses después...

Over the years and with a lot of effort, I have managed to control my character variations and a couple of other "little things"... Until a couple of years ago, I had a huge punching bag filled with foam and sand hanging in my backyard... I used to hit it with a wooden bat for 30 to 45 minutes, then I could go out on the streets without any problems.... Now I don't have the punching bag anymore, just some metal garbage cans which I use to kick for 15 to 20 minutes while cursing them loudly, that usually calms me down.... That means I've made a lot of progress with my character problems!...

Con el paso de los años y poniendo mucho de mi parte, he logrado controlar mis variaciones de carácter y otro par de "pequeñas cosas" adicionales... Hasta hace un par de años tuve colgado en mi patio trasero un enorme saco de boxeo relleno con espuma y arena... Solía golpearlo con un bate de madera durante 30 o 45 minutos, entonces podía salir a las calles sin problemas... Ahora ya no tengo el saco de boxeo, solo algunas papeleras metálicas las cuales suelo patear durante 15 a 20 minutos mientras las maldigo a voz en cuello, eso suele calmarme... ¡Eso quiere decir que he progresado mucho con mis problemas de carácter!...

Oh by the way... Back to the subject of photographs!... The guy in this photo above is my friend "Tapara" (I've never been interested in finding out his real name).... He's a not at all photogenic guy, and maybe he's not a "typical village character".... But the sign on his sweater caught my attention "NO CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION".... Ha ha ha... Tapara is not too adept at work as far as I know!....

Ah por cierto... ¡Volviendo al tema de las fotografias!... El tipo en esta foto de arriba es mi amigo "Tapara" (Nunca me he interesado en averiguar su nombre real)... Es un tipo nada fotogénico, y quizás no sea un "personaje típico del pueblo"... Pero el letrero en su suéter llamó mi atención "NO CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION"... Ha ha ha... ¡Tapara no es demasiado adepto al trabajo según yo sé!...

It's school time... Since most of the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, the streets have come back to life during the early morning hours.... Children and their parents are seeking a gradual return to a "normalcy" that they all missed so much... This takes me back to my childhood years, when I studied in one of those village schools... Almost half a century has passed, but I still remember many things as if it were yesterday...

Es época escolar... Desde que se levantaron la mayoría de las restricciones por el COVID-19, las calles han vuelto a cobrar algo de vida durante las primeras horas de la mañana... Los niños y sus padres procuran un gradual retorno a una "normalidad" que todos extrañaban mucho... Esto me hace volar en recuerdos a mis años de niño, cuando estudiaba en una de esas escuelas del pueblo... Ha pasado casi medio siglo, pero sigo recordando muchas cosas como si fuera ayer...

I don't need to write too much about this photo.... I see myself reflected in that boy crossing the foggy streets to get to his school very early in the morning... When I was a kid I did that too...

No necesito escribir demasiado acerca de esta foto... Me veo reflejado en ese chico atravesando las calles repletas de niebla para llegar a su escuela muy temprano en la mañana... Siendo un niño yo también hacía eso...

I think making this post was a kind of exorcism (I haven't kicked my metal garbage cans today).... This is one of the good things you can experience by editing photos and writing a little... Or surely doing any creative activity on a daily basis...

Creo que hacer este post fue una especie de exorcismo (hoy no he pateado mis papeleras metálicas)... Esta es una de las cosas buenas que se pueden experimentar editando foto y escribiendo un poco... O seguramente realizando cualquier actividad creativa cotidianamente...

This last photo has nothing good in particular... But from a distance I heard that man say "Here comes that jerk taking pictures again"... So I took a picture of him!... he he he he 😂... And I think I'll use it to say that this post is my entry to today's #monomad challenge...

Esta ultima foto no tiene nada de bueno en particular... Pero de lejos oí a ese hombre decir "Allá viene el imbécil aquel haciendo fotos otra vez"... ¡Así que le disparé una foto!... he he he 😂... Y creo que la aprovecharé para decir que esta publicación es mi entrada al reto #monomad de hoy...
