Hola a todos amigos de Blanco y Negro en #Hive... Esta es mi entrada al reto #monomad de hoy!...
These are succulent plants, which by the way are very popular on #Hive, as I have seen a lot of posts related to these plants here.... Seems like a lot of people love these plants! :-)
Son plantas suculentas, las cuales por cierto son muy populares en #Hive, pues he visto gran cantidad de publicaciones relacionadas con estas plantas aquí... ¡Parece que mucha gente ama a estas plantas! :-)
These plants are divided between my wife's garden and my mother's garden (we live in houses next to each other).
Estas plantas están repartidas entre el jardín de mi esposa y el jardín de mi madre (vivimos en casas una al lado de la otra)
I have been observing these plants for days in my spare time. I am actually surprised at the sheer number we have in our gardens.... It seems that my wife and my mother collect these plants at the same rate as I collect cats!... ha ha ha :-)

He estado observando durante días estas plantas en mis ratos libres. En realidad me sorprendo de la enorme cantidad que tenemos en los jardines... ¡Parece que mi esposa y mi madre, coleccionan estas plantas al mismo ritmo que yo colecciono gatos!... ha ha ha :-)
I have to confess that I had not previously paid much attention to these plants. To be honest, I didn't think they were at all suitable for black and white photos. But I got a surprise when I took a closer look at them.
Tengo que confesar que yo no le había prestado mucha atención previamente a estas plantas. La verdad, no pensé que fuesen del todo propicias para fotos en blanco y negro. Pero he recibido una sorpresa al mirarlas detenidamente.
They are really fascinating, they have a great diversity of shapes, multiple types of lines and textures can be found in them. Then, when you point the lens at them and start experimenting with depth of focus and angles.... wham!... They prove to be fascinating to photograph!
Son realmente fascinantes, tienen gran diversidad de formas, múltiples tipos de lineas y texturas pueden hallarse en ellas. Entonces, cuando se apunta al lente hacia ellas y se comienza a experimentar don la profundidad de enfoque y los ángulos... ¡zas!... ¡Se revelan como algo fascinante de fotografiar!
And my wife has told me that there are not only succulents here, but we also have a lot of so-called " crass plants " and of course some cacti.... So I'll have to spend more time poking around in the less frequented corners of these gardens, I guess!.... :-)
Y mi esposa me ha dicho que no solo hay suculentas aquí, sino que también tenemos una gran cantidad de denominadas plantas "crasas" y por supuesto algunos cactus... ¡Entonces tendré que dedicar mas tiempo a hurgar en los rincones menos frecuentados de estos jardines, supongo!... :-)
