WALKING IN A DYSTOPIAN BRAVE NEW WORLD (D/ENG/ESP) - A new entry for the monomad challenge

Wirken diese Bilder nur auf mich, als wären sie einem Bildband von George Orwells "1984" oder Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World" entsprungen? In Wirklichkeit aber, stammen die Bilder aus der spanischen Wolkenkratzerstadt Benidorm am Mittelmeer. Dort spriessen die Hochhäuser nur so aus dem Boden, wie in einem Versuchslabor für Brutalismus-Architekten oder Spielplatz für waghalsige Basejumper, die bei ihrem Sprung gerne aufs Meer hinausblicken.

Do these pictures just look to me as if they had come out of a picture book of George Orwell's "1984" or Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World"? In reality, however, the pictures come from the Spanish skyscraper city of Benidorm on the Mediterranean. There, the skyscrapers are sprouting from the ground like an experimental laboratory for Brutalist architects or a playground for daredevil base jumpers who like to look out to sea as they jump.

¿Me parecen estas imágenes como si hubieran salido de un libro ilustrado de "1984" de George Orwell o de "Un mundo feliz" de Aldous Huxley? En realidad, sin embargo, las imágenes proceden de la ciudad española de rascacielos de Benidorm, en el Mediterráneo. Allí, los rascacielos brotan del suelo como un laboratorio experimental para arquitectos brutalistas o un patio de recreo para temerarios saltadores base a los que les gusta mirar al mar mientras saltan.

Da ich mir gerade die Zeit, in Folge COVID-19-Infektion und erneutem Arbeitsbeginn, am nächsten Montag nehmen kann, bin ich meine Bilder von den Gebäuden in Benidorm am bearbeiten.
