Elegant studio photography - Monomad Challenge

Today I want to share with you some photos I took of a friend in my photography studio. She graduated as a dentist a few days ago and wanted to take some photos with the elegant dress she wore for the occasion, in order to have a beautiful memory of this achievement in her life.

I will use these photos as an entry for the #monomadchallenge contest.

The dress my friend wore was quite formal and elegant, fitted to her body and highlighting her curves. From a photographic point of view, it was the ideal outfit for a studio photo shoot.

My friend already knew how to pose, which made the work much easier and allowed everything to flow very quickly. Once I set up the lighting scheme, we got some very nice photos in a very short time.

For the lighting I used three lights: a main light, a secondary light and a background light to separate the model from the background. I used my Canon RP camera with a 24-105mm f/5 lens. For the background, I used a gray cloth placed on two stands for photographic backgrounds.

At the end of the session, both my friend and I were very happy with the results. The photos were beautiful and she was very excited to know that she will have a photographic record that will last her a lifetime. At age of 60, she will be able to look at these photos and remember with joy the day she graduated.
